CANTERBURY | Project Transformation
This beautiful 1920's Edwardian situated in the leafy suburb of Canterbury was well and truly in need of a makeover.
With typical large open rooms and high ceilings of that era, we had the pleasure of being able to fully renovate this home including the addition of a new master ensuite.
Working once again with Teresa from Embracing Space who created all the joinery and finishing selections we were able to achieve the clients brief and bring this dated family home to life once again.

SANDRINGHAM | Project Transformation
With a bold blue kitchen, exposed brick walls, curved elements, and restored heritage features, every inch of this project is a reflection of our commitment to producing the highest quality of work.
The brief for this renovation was to restore the character-filled, existing features of the home while introducing more light into central living spaces and making these more functional for everyday use.

BRIGHTON | Project Transformation
This small, compact renovation in Brighton was completed back in 2020 and ended up being a fun and interesting build for our team.
The original 'Victorian' style home was built back in 1864 and had previously had some minor work done. This latest renovation focused on the rear living area and kitchen area where we introduced a lot more light and openness in what was once a dark and tight space. We also redesigned the main bathroom and turned a storage space into a master ensuite.
The entire rear floor was also completely rebuilt as it was found that the existing floor structure was in fact sitting in the dirt. Over the top of the new floor we laid a lovely new engineered floor.
The scope, design and finishes had to fit in with the clients budget. The end result was a clean, modern renovation with simple design, functionality and finishes, all while being able to tick the clients boxes.

BRIGHTON | Project Transformation
With our proven 7-step framework, K2 Homes delivered John and Philippa’s architectural renovation in the Bayside suburb of Brighton. We brought an old and shabby 1980’s brick veneer shell into the modern era. We gave it a complete face-lift and huge street appeal, which also improved the properties re-sale value. John and Philippa have fallen in love again with the fresh new look of their family home.
The newly constructed front fence clad in beautiful horizontal double step profile cedar cladding gave John and Philippa added privacy and security. Behind the fence, the new paved walkway is framed by massive spotted gum beams that draw you into the new raised front entrance and continuing through the front door onto the newly constructed deck area that has created a quiet and private outdoor space for the family to host and enjoy dinner parties.
In keeping with the face-lift, we have installed new windows upstairs and replaced the old lining board cladding with foam and render complementing the different cladding systems with contrast in colour and texture. Scyon matrix in brick bond panels now cover the entire front façade downstairs. A new expanded driveway and a new garage door have brought this old family home to life and created a home that John and Philippa take pride in coming home to.

SOUTH YARRA | Project Transformation
This South Yarra apartment renovation was not a typical project that we have taken on in the past, but as it came from a referral and the clients values aligned with ours, we happily accepted.
While not being a highly spec’d job, this project required strong project management and a clear understanding of the client’s needs and budget.
Being the top floor apartment in a building with a Body Corporate, communication and time management were crucial in being able to allow trades to do their work with minimal disruptions to the building’s residents.
Excellent job scheduling, constant communication, and our trusted professionals allowed for a very satisfied client.
